Now isn't it rather fitting that Grimm returns from hiatus tonight on Friday the 13th? Yes, it is. Tonight's episode is "Game Ogre" (TV-14):

En chemin, Jack fait la rencontre d’un étrange personnage qui lui propose, en échange de l’animal, une poignée de graines magiques… Jack décide de lui faire confian-ce. Il en sera grandement récompensé : une fois plantées, les graines donnent naissance à un fabuleux haricot qui grimpe jus-qu’au ciel. Cet étrange escalier va lui donner accès à la maison de l’ogre et à ses trésors. Ainsi, après avoir triomphé de plusieurs épreuves, Jack s’en retournera chez lui doté d’une fortune qui permettra à la mère et au fils de couler des jours heureux, libérés pour toujours des soucis et du besoin.

by Michael Hague was released last week. Hague has been illustrating fairy tales for decades and I've always enjoyed his work. To be honest, I am not sure if this is a reprint or collection gleaned from previous work but the style is very consistent (Hague always is anyway) so I think it might be new. I can't find an answer online to that question. Either way, most of his fairy tale work is out of print so this is a new, clean, unused edition collecting fifteen tales. A lovely book I may have to add to my library, too. I own some of his other works but not enough to skip this one.

Anima Estudios (Mexico), SLR Productions (Australia) Home Plate Entertainment (U.S.) and Telegael (Ireland) have announced that their new animated co-pro Teenage Fairytale Dropouts has been greenlit. The 52 x 11’ comedy TV series centers on three best friends and children of famous fairytale characters who are determined to be themselves, regardless of what their parents want them to be.The series is slated for broadcast in 2013 but not distribution information is available yet.
