World's Tallest Tower

The the worlds newest tallest building is about to be completed, lookx amazing, should be safer than going to space to get a better view of Earth.

A 330-foot-deep sinkhole — GUATEMALA CITY , Guatemala - killed at least two teenagers as it swallowed about a dozen homes on Friday and forced the evacuation of nearly 1,000 people in a crowded Guatemala City neighborhood. Officials blamed the sinkhole on recent rains and an underground sewage flow from a ruptured main. The pit emitted foul odors, loud noises and tremors, shaking the surrounding ground. A rush of water could be heard from its depths, and authorities feared it could widen or others could open up. Rescue operations were on hold until a firefighter, suspended from a cable, could take video and photos above the hole and officials could use the documentation to decide how to proceed. The dead were identified as Irma and David Soyos, emergency spokesman Juan Carlos Bolanos said. Their bodies were found near the sinkhole, floating in a river of sewage. Shilpa On red carpet

On Tuesday 8th May, Shilpa Shetty and director Anurag Basu will be on the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square for the first of three premieres to take place around the world.

This world premiere of Life in a… METRO not only sees Shilpa Shetty in her first film since making a global impact as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, but also marks the first official world premiere of an Indian film outside of Mumbai. World's Tallest Man

Robert Wadlow

Robert Pershing Wadlow (1918 - 1940) was and is the tallest human being ever recorded. He reached 8' 11.1" (272 cm) in height and 490 pounds (222.26 kg) in weight before his death at the age of 22. His height was due to an overactive pituitary gland.
Robert Wadlow was born in Alton, Illinois on February 22 1918. At the time he weighed only 8' 6 ounces (3.8 kg). He attracted attention due to his rapid growth when all his four siblings grew at a more normal speed. At the age of 13 he became the world's tallest Boy Scout with a height of 7'4 (224 cm).
At age 18 his height was 8'4 (254 cm) and he weighed 390 pounds (177 kg). His size 37 shoes cost $100.00 a pair. More after the break...

Hercules: The biggest Dog Ever According to Guiness World Records. Hercules was recently awarded the honorable distinction of worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness World Records. Hercules is an English Mastiff and whas a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds. With " paws the size of Softballs" (reports the boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed's standard 200lb limit.
